What type of therapy?

Dr. Hayes has a range of therapeutic options.

  • Experiential - meaning you experience change within the session. This can come from sandtray, gaming, creative and expressive arts, mindfulness.

  • Play- Get the body moving and creativity flowing. Gaming is something often used for skill development.

  • Relational- We focus on attachment, relational dynamics and improvement within this context; exploring where it all came from and where we go from here.

  • Trauma focused- if you have past or current trauma this is a type of treatment where we target those experiences to help your mind and body process the trauma.

The type of treatment is contingent on your assessment and needs. This is something that is done collaboratively.
