Clinical Supervision

Are you in need of supervision? I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to grow as a clinician. We target clinical skills ranging from assessing & diagnosing, ethical dilemmas, documentation, self of the therapist, creative and effective interventions. Group available.

MFT Students |  $ 60.00

MFT KY/TN/FL |  $ 125.00/30 group * I do have sliding scales for associates/interns.

Registered Play Therapy Supervision |  $ 150.00

Dr. Hayes teaches full time and only allots a small amount of hours to clinical work. Dr. Hayes only works with committed and motivated clients. Dr. Hayes does have associates with lower fees and more flexible hours for those interested.

My approach to therapy

As a family therapist and a play therapist I use a combination of both types of training to help clients. I am an affirming therapist and believe society puts us in a box too much! Therapy is place to be freely you.

The foundation of therapy is our relationship. Therapy is hard, very hard work, it’s not a place where we just talk or I just listen. That’s a part of it, but not all. Therapy is challenging to say the least but you are not doing it alone. Therapy can be fun full of laughter, sadness and loss, anger, confusion, all of it.

My approach to supervision

As an AAMFT supervisor I have completed lengthy training to prepare myself for the sacred relationship between supervisor and supervise. To me, there is a large portion of life long mentorship. As a supervisor I work from an attachment model but also Eriksonian. In addition, I am more direct with ethical and legal and diagnostic feedback so you are prepared for your career. I will help you learn how to navigate the treacherous waters (risks) that therapy brings.

As a play therapist supervisor we bring in elements of play in our supervision, which is so much fun and growth!
